On November 5, the women's 10km marathon swimming event of the 15th National Games was held in Jiediaosha waters off Shenzhen. Liu Yaxin, a master's student at Shenzhen University, clinched the gold medal with a time of 2 hours, 11 minutes, and 42.9 seconds, marking the first swimming gold medal of the Games.

The swimming events of this National Games will run until November 17. The Shenzhen University swimming team, comprising 63 current students and 10 alumni, includes 2 Olympic champions and 8 world champions. We look forward to their continued and even more exciting performances!
