The 2025 Guangdong Provincial College Students Track and Field Championships were grandly held from December 25 to 28, 2025, at the Wushan Campus of South China University of Technology. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from 139 universities across Guangdong Province. Shenzhen University fielded a delegation of 25 athletes: 15 competed in Group B-A (for students majoring in sports-related disciplines), and 10 in Group A-B (for general undergraduate students from regular universities).

Over three intense days of competition, Shenzhen University’s track and field athletes—guided and inspired by their team leaders and coaching staff—gave their all with unwavering determination. Backed by solid technical foundations and rigorous daily training, they delivered outstanding performances on the track and field, demonstrating exceptional physical conditioning, elite competitive standards, and indomitable fighting spirit. They not only showcased their high level of athletic prowess but also surpassed their personal limits. Their efforts culminated in an impressive medal tally of 7 golds, 5 silvers, and 8 bronzes. The team secured 2nd place (First Prize) in the Group B-A (Sports Major Students) team standings and 3rd place (First Prize) in the Group A-B (General Undergraduate Students) team standings. Additionally, three coaches were honored with the title of “Outstanding Coach.”

The outstanding results achieved by Shenzhen University’s track and field team not only mark a historic breakthrough for the squad but also vividly embody the university students’ fearless spirit in facing formidable opponents and their relentless pursuit of excellence. This success stands as a powerful testament to the effectiveness of our competitive training programs.
