From November 30th to December 1st, the Hengqin World Famous Schools Rowing Invitational Regatta was held on the bank of Tianmu River in Hengqin, Zhuhai. Shenzhen University rowing team performed well in the invitational race, The women's quadruple sculls coxswain team stood out among many strong teams, winning two bronze medals due to their exquisite technique and tacit cooperation. The men's eight single sculls coxswain team broke into the top eight.

The event brought together over 30 rowing teams from Tsinghua University, Peking University, the University of Hong Kong, Macau University of Science and Technology, Chinese Culture University, Tongji University, Shenzhen University and other prestigious universities from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, as well as internationally renowned universities, such as the University of Cambridge of the United Kingdom and Yale University of the United States.

By participating in this high-level international event, SZU rowing team not only exercised the team, but also demonstrated the competitive strength and teamwork spirit, fully demonstrated the achievements of SZU's internationalized education, promoted exchanges with famous schools all over the world, broadened their horizons, and accumulated valuable experience for further improving the level of rowing competitions.
