From July 1 to July 3, 2024, sponsored by Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and hosted by South China University of Technology, the 1st Guangdong Provincial University Physical Education Teachers Teaching and Training Skills Exhibition Activity was successfully concluded. 146 teachers from 88 colleges and universities in the province competed in four sports such as soccer, badminton, volleyball, drill and dance classes, etc. The professional skill level of teachers was strengthened through the competition in various aspects such as physical fitness, skills on-site competition and teaching video network review.

The first Guangdong Provincial University Physical Education Teachers Teaching and Training Skills Competition is undoubtedly an important stage to highlight the professional standard and educational strength of university physical education teachers. Before the competition, the College of Physical Education of Shenzhen University attached great importance to it, and under the comprehensive planning and meticulous guidance of the College, the Academic Affairs Office of the College of Physical Education, the Office of Academic Engineering, and the departments and faculties to which the participating teachers belonged made concerted efforts to work closely together to provide a solid foundation for the preparation and participation in the competition.

Sweat and cohesion lead to results, and hard work casts brilliance. After a fierce competition, Zhou Chunjuan and Xue Song, the two teachers who represented Shenzhen University to participate in the competition, with firm eyes, stretching posture, in-depth and fascinating in the teaching session, rigorous and meticulous in the training process, the effect is remarkable, by virtue of outstanding performance, won the judges' unanimous praise. In the end, they won the first prize of soccer and badminton respectively, which is not only the affirmation of their personal teaching ability, but also fully demonstrated the exquisite professional skills and high teaching level of the teachers of the School of Physical Education of SZU.

“The wind is strong as we ride the waves forward, and we will not be ashamed to compete for the future”. This competition not only shows the teaching style of physical education teachers, but also further improves the overall quality and image of the school's education in the process of cutting, sparring, polishing and grinding. Teachers in our college said that they will continue to “plough deeply in their specialty, refine their thinking, and stride forward on the road of education, striving for another success”.
