On May 6, 2024, the China Golf High-Quality Development Seminar sponsored by Shenzhen University and undertaken by the School of Physical Education of Shenzhen University was successfully held in Conference Room 303 of Shenzhen University Alumni Square. Li Yonghua, Vice President of Shenzhen University, Wei Qingfeng, Secretary-General of the China Golf Association, Li Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Physical Education of Shenzhen University, Liu Jian, Dean of the School of Physical Education of Shenzhen University, Zhang Ning, Director of the Market Training Department of the China Golf Association, Deng Hanmin, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Shenzhen Golf Association, etc. and 12 members of Shenzhen University Relevant leaders of the College of Physical Education, teachers and 24 guests, experts, scholars and entrepreneurs from the golf industry attended the meeting.

On behalf of Shenzhen University, President Li warmly welcomed and sincerely thanked the guests who attended the meeting. He stressed that since the establishment of Shenzhen University, it has shouldered the glorious mission of cultivating talents for the special zone and exploring the way for the reform of national higher education. The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China first put forward the "high-quality development" strategy with "unification of quality and quantity, synchronization of quality and incrementalization" as the core. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China that high-quality development is the first task of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way. Shenzhen University is the earliest university in China to carry out golf education. This seminar is very meaningful. I believe that through the discussion, we can exchange ideas, build consensus, and effectively promote the high-quality development of golf.
