The 2024 China University Chess Championship was held from July 18 to 20 in Bengbu, Anhui. A total of 26 universities and 96 students and faculty members participated in the event. Shenzhen University sent 8 students to compete in both the Rating Group and Master Group competitions. After three days of intense competition, our students achieved outstanding results, winning the Rating Group Team Championship and finishing as the overall Team Runner-up.

Individually, Peng Hongchi from the 2022 class won first place in the Men's Rating Group, Ma Lin from the 2022 class placed fourth in the Men's Individual competition, Sun Chao from the 2021 class finished sixth in the Men's Rating Group, Gao Hanxue from the 2021 class secured fourth place in the Women's Rating Group, and Peng Siyu from the 2022 class took sixth place in the Women's Master Group. The Shenzhen University Chess Team also received the “Sportsmanship Award”.
