In order to fully leverage the cultural and tourism resources advantages of the revolutionary old areas of Haifeng and Lufeng, polish the Lufeng red cultural brand, further activate the high-quality development of Lufeng's cultural and tourism economy, deepen the paired assistance and co construction relationship between Shenzhen University and Lufeng, and achieve mutual exchange and benefit of school local resources, on June 20th, Ye Junyu, Deputy Mayor of Lufeng Municipal People's Government, and his delegation held the 2024 Lufeng "Red Cultural Resources" Promotion Conference on campus.

Wu Bao Shui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the university, attended the promotion conference and delivered a speech.

During the conference, the School of Physical Education signed a “Strategic Cooperation Intention Agreement” with the Lufeng Municipal Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports Bureau to jointly promote the high-quality development of Lufeng.

This promotion conference also specially arranged for the promotion of Lufeng City’s “Red Cultural Resources” and the performance of intangible cultural heritage programs, as well as an interactive session between Shenzhen University’s faculty and students and representatives from Lufeng City. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions on the development of culture, tourism, and sports industries, and the inheritance and promotion of red culture. The participating faculty and students expressed that the promotion conference gave them a deeper understanding of Lufeng City’s red culture and sparked their interest in experiencing and exploring Lufeng City firsthand.

The successful holding of the Lufeng City “Red Cultural Resources” Cultural and Tourism Promotion Conference (Shenzhen University Special Session), especially the signing of the “Strategic Cooperation Intention Agreement” between the School of Physical Education and the Lufeng Municipal Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports Bureau, not only provided a rare cultural feast for the faculty and students of Shenzhen University but also injected new vitality into the development of Lufeng City’s culture, tourism, and sports industries. In the future, both parties will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation to jointly promote the prosperity and development of culture, tourism, and sports industries, and make greater contributions to the inheritance and promotion of red culture.
