The 2024 Guangdong College Students’ Sports Dance Championship, guided by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, hosted by the Guangdong Students’ Sports and Arts Federation, and organized by Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, was held at the University Town campus of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies from November 8th to 10th.

This competition gathered 688 competitors from 49 universities, including Sun Yat-sen University, Jinan University, and Shenzhen University. Shenzhen University’s sports dance team sent 9 Group A athletes to participate in individual, pairs, and team events of this competition.

After two days of intense competition, our university’s sports dance team, with superb competitive skills and a tenacious spirit of struggle, achieved 1 gold, 2 bronze, 3 fourth places, 1 fifth place, 1 sixth place, and 3 eighth places, winning the first prize in the team total score of Group A. Coach Su Shisan was honored with the title of ‘Outstanding Coach’ in Guangdong Province.
