Recently, the Rhythmic Gymnastics Team of our University's School of Physical Education was invited by China Media Group to take part in the recording of 2026 Special Program for the May Fourth Youth Day. This invitation fully recognizes the achievements of our university's aesthetic education and students' professional competence. It also serves as a valuable opportunity for Shenzhen University students to showcase the demeanor of young people in the new era to audiences nationwide with their youthful vitality.
The year 2026 marks the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan and a crucial year for further deepening reform. Titled "For the Future, Here We Come", the special program focuses on the inspiring stories of Chinese youth in the new era striving for progress in scientific and technological innovation, rural revitalization, cultural inheritance and other fields, presenting their confidence, self-improvement, diligence and dedication. The program aired during prime time on the evening of May 4, 2026, simultaneously on CCTV-1, CCTV-3, CCTV-15 and new media platforms including Yangshipin and CCTV.com.
To enhance the overall presentation, China Media Group formally invited our rhythmic gymnastics team to join the production. Upon receiving the invitation, the School attached great importance to the event. It selected elite team members to put on a cheerleading performance for the program.
