At 3 PM on May 29, the closing ceremony of the 12th Guangdong Provincial College Students 'Games was held at the auditorium of Jinan University (Shi Pai Campus). A total of 151 universities across the province and 12,000 athletes competed in 12 major events and 517 minor events. Shenzhen University sent 233 athletes to compete in 10 major events, and they won several honors, including' Excellent Organizing Unit for Participation, '' Sportsmanship Award Delegation, '' Second Prize for Group Total Score in Group A, '' Second Prize for Group Total Score in Group B1, 'and' Second Prize for Group Total Score in Group B2.'

This Universiade marks the first large-scale participation since the establishment of our university's School of Physical Education. The athletes from Shenzhen University demonstrated unity, dedication, and a spirit of striving for excellence, fully embodying the ethos of daring to surpass limits and interpreting the "Three-Self Spirit" of self-reliance, self-discipline, and self-improvement. However, when viewed from the overall competition landscape, there remains a gap compared to universities that secured first prizes. This provides valuable insights for scientifically planning the development strategies of our university's sports teams, optimizing event arrangements, and improving competition system management.

At the closing ceremony's award presentation, the following individuals were in attendance: Vice Dean Zhang Debao of the College of Physical Education at Shenzhen University, Director Deng Wanjin of the Competition and Training Center, Chang Dihe and Ju Enhao - champions of the Men's Team Tennis Division B, and WuShiye - champion of the Men'sDoublesBadmintonDivisionA.
