The 18th China University Sports Dance Championship was held from June 8th to 13th in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Organized by the China School Sports Federation under the Ministry of Education, executed by the University Sports Dance Branch, and hosted by the Zhengzhou Municipal Sports Bureau, the event attracted 2,112 outstanding dancers from 176 universities across 29 provinces and municipalities nationwide. This competition represents the highest standard, most competitive level, and most influential collegiate sports dance event.

The Shenzhen University Ballroom Dance Team selected five members to participate in the competition. Over the course of five intense days of competition, under the careful guidance and leadership of the team leader and coaches, our university's ballroom dance athletes progressed from preliminary rounds to semifinals and finals, completing a total of 19 rounds of competition and 45 dance performances. Throughout this process, the team members demonstrated outstanding physical fitness, exquisite dance techniques, and tenacious competitive spirit, showcasing their skills, surpassing themselves, and securing 2 gold and 1 silver medals while achieving placements from fourth to sixth in multiple events. Additionally, our team was awarded the "Sportsmanship Team" title, with Teacher Su Shishan and team members Luo Pengyang, Zhong Yarui, and Li Xiangning receiving Sportsmanship Awards.

The victory in this competition is attributed to the passion of Shenzhen University students for the sport of dance, as well as the strong support, encouragement, and assistance from the university and college leadership in promoting campus sports culture. Our team will continue to strive, summarize our experience, and achieve even greater success!
